Built for High-Ceiling, High-Output Spaces
Some spaces don't need fine-tuned beam control. They need a lot of even light covering a lot of square footage, with as few fixtures and as little install complexity as possible. That's what this fixture is built for.
A fixed 120° beam spreads light wide and evenly across open floor areas, so you're not hunting for the right angle setting or running extra fixtures to fill gaps. Combined with simple installation (an included G-hook, or an optional angle-adjustable U-bracket and pendant mounting adapter), this is a fixture built to go up fast and stay out of the way.
Wattage and color temperature are still selectable on-site via dip switch (240W / 270W / 310W, 4000K / 5000K), so you can match output to ceiling height and application without ordering a different model.
Built to Handle Tough Conditions
- UL/cUL Wet Location Listed. Rated for damp locations and covered outdoor applications, not just dry indoor spaces.
- -40°F to 122°F operating range. Performs in freezer warehouses and unconditioned buildings where standard fixtures fail.
- Die-cast aluminum housing with corrosion-resistant powder coating, built to hold up under continuous commercial use.
- Built-in surge protection. Guards against voltage spikes that shorten the life of less-protected fixtures.
- Separate external driver. Isolated from LED heat for a longer working life than driver-on-board designs.
Energy Management Built In
- 0-10V dimming. Connect to any standard commercial dimming controller to reduce output and energy use on demand.
- Plug-in PIR motion sensor with optional remote and wireless networking. Add occupancy control without rewiring; sensor sold separately.
- Three wattage settings. Right-size the output to the ceiling height instead of over-lighting and over-paying.

Not All High Bays Are Built the Same
A cheaper high bay might look similar in a listing photo. Here's what's different when it arrives, and years later.
| This Fixture | Typical Marketplace Import | |
|---|---|---|
| Driver Quality | Commercial-grade; stable, flicker-free output | Consumer-grade; flicker common |
| Driver Design | Separate external driver | Driver-on-board (DOB); heat from the LEDs degrades the driver faster, shortening fixture life |
| Surge Protection | Built in | Rarely included |
| Temperature Rating | -40°F to 122°F | Typically 32°F–104°F |
| Wet Location Rating | UL/cUL Wet Location Listed | Rarely rated for damp or outdoor-adjacent use |
| Housing | Die-cast aluminum; corrosion-resistant powder coat | Often plastic or thin stamped metal |
| Warranty Support | 5 years; ELEDLights US-based team | Typically 1 year or less; seller may vanish |
| Rebate Eligible | ✓ Yes, DLC listed | ✗ No, disqualified without DLC |
On driver design: Many ultra-cheap high bays use a "driver-on-board" design where the driver circuitry is mounted directly on the LED board. Because LEDs generate significant heat, the driver is constantly exposed to thermal stress, accelerating failure. This fixture uses a separate external driver, keeping it away from the heat source and extending the working life of the whole unit.
On rebates: DLC certification means this fixture qualifies for utility rebates in most commercial programs, often $15 to $50 per fixture. On a 20-fixture install, that can significantly offset the cost difference versus a cheaper import before you account for energy savings and avoided replacement costs.
On replacement costs: These lights go up 30 to 40 feet. When a cheap fixture fails early, getting it down and back up typically means renting a scissor lift or scaffolding, often several hundred dollars for a half-day at that height, on top of the fixture itself. Buy a light that lasts and you may never have to make that call.
