ELEDLights Sponsors Driver Billy Johnson at Le Mans
ELEDLights leadership Henry and Kyle Mann were excited to support and cheer on Billy Johnson and the Ford Team at the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans Race, the oldest active endurance sports car race on June 16, 2019.
Le Mans’ 24 Hours stands out as the epitome of vehicle racing, having inspired numerous other endurance races across the globe. The Le Mans race annually hosts the top drivers and factory teams in the world, as well as attracting some of the top privately funded teams from around the globe.
Since 2016, ELEDLights has been proud to sponsor driver Billy Johnson of Ford Chip Ganassi Racing. With the ELEDLights logo adorning his helmet and racing suit, Billy took the No. 66 Ford GT to the track this year for the farewell performance of Ford Chip Ganassi Racing as a factory program.
Billy and the team finished 6th out of 17 cars in the LM GTE PRO class. Though they did not make the podium, it’s an honor for our sponsored racer to be invited to compete in this world-class race.
