Continuous Protection

This 2x4 troffer-mount active air purifier quietly neutralizes airborne pathogens. Because the two T8 UVC lamps used for pathogen inactivation are fully housed within the unit, disinfection can take place 24/7.

During operation, air is drawn into the purifier through MERV 16 filters. As it passes through the enclosed UV sanitation chamber, where UV irradiance is 240 uW/cm2 at 3, the air is sanitized. UVC technology is capable of inactivating 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, mold, spores, and other harmful microbes. Clean, sanitized air then exits the unit through a louvered exhaust panel.

The ability to sanitize air within a room helps prevent contaminated air from reaching the HVAC system and spreading throughout the building.

Covers up to 4200 cu ft

With a max treatment capacity of 12,600 cubic feet per hour, one 2x4 troffer unit can cover a 4200 ft3 space with 3 room air changes per hour or a 2100 ft3 space with 6 room air changes per hour. In large open areas, we recommend pairing these with wall-mount air cleaners, such as the Upper Room GUV unit or GUV Active Air Cleaner.

Low Maintenance & Safe for Humans

With lamps lasting an average of 8,000 hours, this air disinfection process is a low maintenance sanitizing solution. This unit uses two 60W T8 fluorescent UVC lamps (included).

Additionally, because the UV lamps are enclosed and nothing in the room outside of the unit is exposed to the UV rays, under normal operation there is no risk of material degradation or skin or eye damage.

This unit is for use in indoor occupied areas. Suggested applications include food processing, pharmaceutical, schools, labs, warehouses, industrial buildings, manufacturing plants, offices, hospitals, and more.

Warning and Disclaimer: UVC radiation can cause skin burns and eye injuries that may appear hours after exposure has occurred. Avoid direct skin exposure to UVC radiation and never look directly into a UVC light source, even briefly. Inappropriate and improper use of the UV-C products could be dangerous and harmful. Always keep the products away from and out of reach of children. We recommend ANSI Z87.1-1989 eye/face protection, long pants and sleeves, and disposable nitrile gloves when performing maintenance with or around exposed UV lamps. You are cautioned not to tamper with factory settings.
