24/7 UVC Air Cleaning

Looking to reduce the spread of airborne pathogens in your facility? This 2x2 troffer mount UVC air purifier quietly and continuously inactivates 99.9% of virus, bacteria, mold, and spore microbe types. And, because its UVC lamps are entirely enclosed within the housing, this system is safe to run during occupied periods. Under normal operation it poses no risk to skin or eyes, nor will it degrade any polymer or glass materials in the room.

How It Works

Air is drawn through filters into the troffer's chamber, where it is exposed to UVC (254 nm wavelength) light rated at a total UV irradiance of 132 uW/cm2 at 3 feet. This light inactivates microbes at a cellular level, neutralizing them and rendering them unable to reproduce. Sanitized air is then sent back out to the room.

Capacity

Coverage area is dependent on how often you need the room's air changed (i.e, sent through the troffer unit). The maximum treatment capacity for a single unit is 6,300 cubic feet per hour. This means that you could cover a 2,100 cubic foot space with 3 air changes per hour or a 1,050 cubic foot space with 6 air changes per hour.

Maintenance and Safety

This UVC air purifier is low maintenance, thanks to the long life (8,000 hours) of the fluorescent UVC lamps. This unit uses three 15W 18" T8HO UVC lamps. The lamp area can be accessed from the bottom of the housing, making lamp replacements relatively simple. An interlock safety switch cuts power to the unit as soon as the access panel is opened, reducing risk of accidental UV exposure.

This UVC air purifier is for use in indoor occupied areas. Suggested applications include food processing, pharmaceutical, schools, labs, industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities, offices, hospitals, and more.

Warning and Disclaimer: UVC radiation can cause skin burns and eye injuries that may appear hours after exposure has occurred. Avoid direct skin exposure to UVC radiation and never look directly into a UVC light source, even briefly. Inappropriate and improper use of the UV-C products could be dangerous and harmful. Always keep the products away from and out of reach of children. We recommend ANSI Z87.1-1989 eye/face protection, long pants and sleeves, and disposable nitrile gloves when working with or around exposed UV lamps. You are cautioned not to tamper with factory settings.
